Property has always been both my career and my passion. With 28 years in the building industry, including 15 years running my own successful building businesses. I’ve had the privilege of renovating and building countless homes for clients. While being great with a hammer was important, the true foundation of any successful project is the client relationship. Before any ground was broken, trust had to be built. By listening carefully to my clients’ needs, maintaining clear and open communication, and operating with unwavering honesty and integrity, clients knew their homes and investments were always in safe hands. This approach led to long-lasting relationships, repeat business, and referrals, something I’m incredibly proud of. Although my role has changed, my passion for property and relationships has not. I’m excited to transfer these skills into real estate, guiding both sellers and buyers through what can be one of life’s biggest decisions. Originally from the UK, I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, while living in Australia I met my beautiful fiancée, who is from Motueka. In 2018, we made Motueka our home, and I was welcomed into the community with open arms. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of earning the trust of many clients throughout Motueka and Tasman region, completing numerous renovations and property repairs. Most of my work was through repeat clients and referrals. Now, with a young family and a not-so-young body, I knew the time was right to transition into real estate. I’m genuinely excited to combine my passion and extensive property knowledge into helping others confidently move to their next home or secure the right investment opportunity.

Having managed my own rental properties, I fully understand that I have a significant responsibility and see the importance of finding the right people to live in and look after your rental investment. I will strive to create an outstanding relationship between the property owner, myself as the manager, and the tenant. A combination of organisational skills, attention to detail and communicating with a positive, friendly demeanour are invaluable in my role, coupled with this I have a practical approach which is vital when working with properties. We are blessed to live within a place that is so diverse with a wide range of people, and with my varying range of skills, I feel that I can work with people from all differing backgrounds. Although my family resides in Motueka, on the weekends we love to go to our farm in Pohara, Takaka, where I ride horses, farm sheep, chickens, and beef, cut gorse and work on our Airbnb project. Emma and her husband moved to New Zealand from Buckinghamshire, England in 2008 and have called Motueka home ever since. She has a strong administration and customer service background, having previously worked in the travel and tourism industry in England and New Zealand. Having recently joined Summit as Receptionist in the Motueka office, she is excited to learn about the real estate industry and put her office and organisational skills into play in her new Receptionist role. Outside of the office Emma enjoys spending her time with her family, going for walks, pilates, trips to the beach or staying at home cooking and gardening.
