Median Sale Price
Home sellers are continuing to experience a rise in sale prices across the region with the Nelson and Tasman median sitting at $530,000 and $642,000 respectively. Particularly good news for homeowners in the Tasman region with the median sale prices hitting a new record high.
Days to Sell
The median number of days to sell nationally sat at 41; Nelson bucked the trend considerably with property taking shy of 4 weeks, at only 27 days to sell.
Inventory
While we saw an increase in the total number of properties available for sale compared to this time last year; overall, inventory remains at historic lows. With the total number of buyers far exceeding availability - the old age adage of supply and demand remains. Great news for home sellers!
