A year with some exceptional results from our experienced team and those newer to Summit, we are delighted to maintain the title number one real estate company in the Nelson/Tasman area.
Congratulations to Bruce Batty, Top Salesperson in the group for the third consecutive year. We are tremendously proud of Bruce, his energy levels, ethics and the service he provides. We could not ask for a better example for our new people to emulate other than what Bruce provides.
The results of the Summit group have many parallels with what it takes to achieve a top result for a property sale. Appointing an agent that has an experienced team of colleagues and who leaves no stone unturned in the market makes a tremendous difference to the outcome. Print media still serves a vital part of buyer enquiry along with multiple website marketing.
There are many people that deserve recognition and thanks for the contribution to the Summit brand. Congratulations in particular to Stewart Henry who leads an outstanding team of property managers. Congratulations and thank you also to the Summit Champions and other award recipients.
We are very grateful for the tremendous support throughout the communities we are a part of in the top of the South Island. We enjoy being part of many community events and sports. Over the past year, one of the highlights has been the work our team has been involved in with the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust including marketing and auctioning the NZ Certified Builder & Mitre 10 House, the Rescue Helicopter Charity Golf Tournament hosted by our Motueka team at the Motueka Golf Club, and the collectors and Givealittle campaign during the appeal month.
Summit is proud that our management team is made up of an even number of males and females and we continue to strive to set the benchmark for real estate and property management.
Taking to the stage to accept his awards, Bruce said his continued success was from yet another year of hard work doing everything possible for his vendors, a great many of them were from repeat and referred business from past, satisfied vendors and purchasers alike. “I am proud to be part of the loyal Summit team operating under such a great brand,” says Bruce.
“Bruce has a great sense of humour, incredible attention to detail, and tremendous support from his wife Eva” comments Gordon Webb, Richmond Branch Manager, who was honoured to award him with Salesperson of the Year.

After a very successful 12-year career as a golfing professional, Glyn Delany joined the Summit Richmond office in mid-2017. From million dollar plus homes to the modest residential units, Glyn has been very successful at finding the right buyer for each.
Glyn attributes his success to the tremendous support he receives from his wife Kelly and the mentoring and guidance from Gordon Webb, the Richmond office Branch Manager. Glyn said in his acceptance speech that Gordon has provided answers to literally hundreds of questions regardless of whether it is during working hours or after.
Glyn is no stranger to hard work and prides himself on providing service that produces exceptional results.

Jim Black became a fifth-time recipient of the Mortgage Adviser of the Year award. This is a huge achievement and one that his colleagues say Jim well and truly deserves.
Jim’s clients always have positive things to say about the service they receive, so it’s no surprise that a lot of his business is repeat and referral. Being able to relate to people from all walks of life is fundamental to the role of Mortgage Adviser, and something that comes naturally to Jim after diverse careers including working in Banking, NZ Police, NZ Forest Service, and real estate sales.
