$22,000 raised for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter

On Friday the 24th of May, Summit along with the Nelson Weekly and the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter held the annual fundraising golf tournament at the Nelson Golf Club.
With 29 teams of 4 competing in an Ambrose format, the weather was terrific, and all involved had a great day. Later that night a charity auction was held by Summit Stoke Branch Manager, Ben Nalder, where items generously donated were auctioned off.
With a total of $22,000 raised on the day and all proceeds going to the Rescue Helicopter - equivalent to roughly 6 lives saved - it was once again a hugely successful event.
